What is Password Spyer 2k?

Password Spyer 2k is a password recovery tool for windows. Password Spyer 2k reveals passwords hidden by asterkis (***) in all windows version (including 2000 and XP). It can be used to recover lost passwords in most windows applications such as outlook, cute ftp, ws ftp, ICQ and others. Password Spyer 2k can also be useed to reveal saved web passwords in Internet Explorer.

How can Password Spyer 2k be used?

After installing Password Spyer 2k, launch it by choosing start, then Program, then Password Spyer 2k, and finally choosing Password Spyer 2k or by running Spyer2k.exe.

From here, you are ready to reveal passwords hidden by asterisks (***).
Password Spyer 2k supports two methods for revealing passwords for better password retrieval. The default method is Drap-n-Drop method. In this method, you are required to drag the cursor on the top right of the window to the password area so that Password Spyer 2k will reveal the password. While Password Spyer 2k is searching for a password, the indicator light will be green. If a password is found, the indicator light will turn to red and the password found will be shown in the 'Password Box'.
To Drag the cursor, all you have to do is left click on the cursor and hold the left mouse click and move the mouse over the password (while still holding the left mouse click) and then release.

Some passwords are better protected than others in a way so the first default method dosen't work to reveal the password. In this case, the second method "Mouse Over" is to be used. This method is a more aggressive way to detect passwords.
To switch to this method, just click on "Mouse Over" to select it. While in this method, Password Spyer 2k will keep on searching for passwords while you move your mouse. All you have to do now is to move your mouse over the asterisks so that the password is recovered. When the password is detected, the indicator light will turn red and the password will be shown in the 'Password Box'.

I recovered my password now what?
You can copy the password to your clipboard buy clicking on 'Copy to Clipboard' button (only available to registered users) and now you can use it again normally to change it for example.

What about web passwords stored in Internet Explorer?
Web passwords are stored in a special way and they are not retrieved by the normal methods described above. In order to retrive web passwords (only the ones saved in Internet Explorer), just click on 'Show web passwords' button in order to reveal all web passwords currently saved (and currently opened in the browser). This feature is only available in registered version and is not accessible to un-registered users. This will show all currently opened URLs having a saved password and the saved password revealed.
